How to Find a Play Therapist in Dallas

You have done your research. You know that play therapy has over 60 years of research proving that it is an effective treatment for many mental health concerns, including anxiety.

Now, you are ready to find a play therapist in Dallas. There are several ways to find one. The following is a list of resources.

Google

For many people, me included, this is the first step. If I have a question, I search on Google for an answer. However, I try to be mindful regarding sources. If google answers my question with a link to the AP News or a BBC article, then it is probably trustworthy. Sometimes the links google recommends are not as trustworthy, and I try to be smart about media consumption.

Ask Family and Friends

A recommendation from someone who is known and trusted can help us to feel more confident stepping into the therapy room. Sometimes, when I have a question, I ask my friends on social media. I have had great luck with those responses at times.
